Personal data

Personal data is data concerning your person. It includes your name, your address and your email address. You need not disclose any personal data in order to be able to visit our website. In certain cases, we need your name, address and further information in order to be able to provide you with the required service.

This also applies in case we send you any information material requested, or reply to your enquiries. In these cases, we will always point this out to you. Moreover, we only store the data you have communicated to us automatically or voluntarily.

If you use one of our services, we usually only collect the data necessary to provide our service to you. We may ask you for more information, which is voluntary in nature. Whenever we process personal data, we do so to provide you with our service or to pursue our commercial goals.

Automatically stored non-personal data

When you visit our website, we store certain information for administrative and technical reasons. This includes: Type and version of the browser used, date and time of access, and the IP address.

This data is anonymised and used only for statistical purposes or to improve our internet and online services.

This anonymised data is stored separately from personal data on secure systems and cannot be assigned to individual persons. This means that your personal data remains protected at all times.

Cookies

When you visit our website, we may store information on your computer in the form of cookies. Cookies are small files that are transferred from an Internet server to your browser and stored on its hard disk. The legal basis for the use of cookies is Art. 6 sect. 1 lit. f DSGVO (GDPR).

Only the Internet Protocol address is stored in this context, but no other personal data. This information which is stored in the cookies allows us to automatically recognize you the next time you visit our website, which will facilitate your using it.

Of course, you can also visit our website without accepting cookies. If you do not want your computer to be recognized the next time you visit, you may also decline the use of cookies by changing the settings in your browser to „Refuse cookies“. The respective procedure can be found in the operating instructions of your respective browser. If you refuse the use of cookies, however, this may lead to restrictions in the use of some areas of our websites.

Google-analytics with anonymisation function

On our website, we use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 USA, hereinafter referred to as “Google“. Google Analytics uses “cookies”, which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyse how you use the site.

The information generated by these cookies, such as the time, location and frequency of your website visit, including your IP address, is transmitted to Google in the United States and stored there.

We use Google Analytics on our website with the addition „_gat._anonymizeIp“. In this case, your IP address will already be shortened and thus anonymized by Google within member states of the European Union or other states which are contracting parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area.

Google will use this information to evaluate your use of our site, to compile reports about your website activity for us, and to provide other services related to website and internet usage. Google may also transfer this information to third parties to the extent that this is required by law or as far as third parties process this data on behalf of Google.

Google claims not to link your IP address on any account to any other data provided by Google. You can prevent the installation of cookies by setting your browser software accordingly; however, we would like to point out that in this case, you may not be able to fully use all functions of our website.

In addition, Google offers a deactivation add-on for the most popular browsers, giving you more control over what Google collects about the websites you visit. The add-on informs the JavaScript (ga.js) of Google Analytics that no website visit information should be transmitted to Google Analytics. However, the Google Analytics Disable add-on for browsers of Google Analytics does not prevent information from being transmitted to us or any other web analytics services we may use. For further information on how to install the browser add-on, please refer to the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de

If you visit our site via a mobile device (smartphone or tablet), you must insteadclick on this link to prevent tracking by Google Analytics within this website in the future. This is also possible as an alternative to the above browser add-on. Clicking on the link places an opt-out cookie in your browser which is valid only for this browser and this domain. If you delete the cookies in this browser, the opt-out cookie will also be deleted, so you will have to click the link again.

If you have consented to Google linking your web and app browser history to your Google account and using information from your Google account to personalize your ads, Google will use your data together with Google Analytics data in order to provide audience lists for cross-device remarketing. To do so, Google Analytics will initially track your Google-authenticated ID associated with your Google account (that is, personal data) on our website. Afterwards, Google Analytics will temporarily link your ID with your Google Analytics data to optimize our audiences.

If you do not agree, you can opt-out of this through appropriate settings in the „My Account“ section of your Google account.
